Leadership Reno(vation) Complete

My "big girl" branding is complete and I'm so excited to share it with y'all!

As I mentioned in my last post, up until this point all graphics/branding/web design for my company have all been DIY projects created by me, The DIY Leader.

However, when I decided that this "entrepreneur thing" was going to be a serious endeavor of mine, I engaged the help of a professional, Bekah Crowell at bekahcrowelldesign.com. And here we are! I really enjoyed working with her and was so impressed by the final package she provided.

Not only did she provide me with my primary logo (above), but she also provided me with a secondary/alternative logo, a favicon (that little image in the tab on your browser), a brandmark, and social media assets, all in every color and file format I could ever need for web and print. I love the simplicity of it and the meaning behind the font and colors.

You'll also see this builder's compass in the logo start to pop up everywhere. This is significant to tying in the "reno" portion of the company name, and providing a visual cue for the brand. We're "building" great leaders here folks, so precise direction and metrics are fundamental.

I'm still in the process of updating all related social media sites. It's a slow process because I'm a one-man-show with ADHD. So, as you can imagine, I have about 20 different projects "under construction" currently.

"The DIY Leader (me) is to leadership reform as HGTV is to the home renovation industry." -- The DIY Leader

I'll try not to abuse my power with this new branding.

Still Under Construction

Getting back to business... I'm still plugging away and learning more every day. Here's a list of some of the projects that are dividing my time:

  • TEDx Talk

  • Building GREAT Leaders Master Class series

  • LinkedIn company page

  • Podcast

  • YouTube channel

I'll continue to keep you posted.

Lastly

I'm so proud and honored to have been inducted into the Marquis Who'sWho in America and Who's Who of Professional Women publications, class of 2023! (No, that's not a typo. I copied the book titles directly from the website.)

Until the 2023 publications are released, you can find my online bio available here.
